The VentoApp is a specialized weather application developed by drone pilots for drone pilots, aimed at providing precise and relevant weather information to ensure safe and efficient flight planning.

The app offers hour-by-hour weather forecasts, allowing users to anticipate changing conditions throughout the day. It includes detailed wind strength measurements, which are critical for safe drone operation, along with cloud coverage percentages to assess visibility and aerial image quality.

Additional features include the ability to save multiple locations by dropping pins on a map, enabling pilots to monitor weather conditions across various sites. The app also provides rain probability estimates to advise when flying might be inadvisable and temperature readings to help users plan appropriate attire or equipment.

An intuitive color-coded system assists users in quickly identifying optimal flying conditions: green indicates favorable weather, while yellow advises caution. The 7-day forecast helps with strategic planning and coordination for upcoming drone activities or shoots.

Weather data is sourced from forecast.io; however, users should remain aware that forecasts are inherently uncertain and the app does not guarantee data accuracy.
